Hope has a background in executive direction, graphic design, marketing, illustration, art direction, and product design. She holds a BFA in Art & Graphic Design.

 

Hope currently serves as the Program Director of LC Nature Park near Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has worked as the Executive Director of the Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio, Art Director at Bittersweet, Inc., Graphic Designer for Sauder Woodworking, an instructor for Defiance College, and a Toy Designer for Ohio Art.

 

She continues to freelance in the targeted greeting card business, illustrating veterinary reminder cards, interpretive signage and maps. She has provided designs such as ceramic music boxes, mugs, and other tableware in both domestic and international giftware markets.

Her personal work encompasses a love for nature and includes hand-carved ceramic art, kinetic sculpture made from found and natural objects, jewelry, and painting.
