Hope has a background in graphic design, marketing, illustration, art direction, and product design. She holds a BFA in Art & Graphic Design. Hope currently serves as the Director of the Wassenberg Art Center in Van Wert, Ohio and has worked as an Art Director at Bittersweet, Inc., a Graphic Designer for Sauder Woodworking, an instructor for Defiance College and a Toy Designer for Ohio Art and varied things in between.

 

She continues to freelance in the targeted greeting card business, illustrating veterinary reminder cards. She has provided designs such as ceramic music boxes, mugs and other tableware in both domestic and international giftware industries.

Her personal art includes hand-carved pottery, kinetic sculpture made from found and natural objects, constructing fairy houses, creating jewelry and painting. Random items available in the online store.
